DISCHETTO is Jade Waterman, a DJ currently based in Brooklyn, NY. In addition to DJing for the past decade, she has also continued to satisfy her musical prowess by actively playing the harp, guitar, and piano for 15+ years.
As a past resident of NYC’s iconic Webster Hall, DISCHETTO exercised her skills as a DJ for their Saturday night GOTHAM party that featured some world renown house and techno acts.
From 2017 to 2018 she hosted a monthly techno party in Bushwick, Brooklyn that has featured both internationally known artists like PILO, Klienfeld, Alexander Technique, St. Xose, Flood1 (f.k.a. Young Male), and QRTR, in addition to showcasing some of NYC’s most notable local heroes.
With strong roots in classic electronica a la Kraftwerk, Nitzer Ebb, Depeche Mode, and Dopplereffekt, she combines her passion for retro electro sounds with modern techno elements in her DJ sets.
DISCHETTO has opened for Boys Noize to Mija, Brodinski, Skrillex, Dog Blood, Deadmau5, REZZ, Mr. Oizo, MSTRKRFT, Busy P, Boston Bun, Breach, Ardalan, J.Phlip, Tchami, Zeds Dead, Zombie Nation, Malaa, Mat Zo, Club Cheval, Fatboy Slim, UZ, and Juan Maclean – to name a few. She has played b2b sets with PILO, Madame, Deapmash, and Escor Krist, and has brought her menacing brand of techno and electro to Los Angeles, NYC, Philadelphia, and Miami. Known on the internet as Nest HQ’s resident techno expert, DISCHETTO has steadily been gaining traction in the music world and has no plans to stop anytime soon.
