i go by Jade waterman by day
& i go by dischetto by night.

i like to do things & make things — primarily music or art or whatever I feel like that day.

Jade Waterman is a self-described multi-potentialite who currently calls Brooklyn, New York home. AS A METICULOUS AND UNFORGIVING TECHNO DJ AND CLASSICALLY TRAINED HARPIST FOR OVER 20 YEARS, She FUSES HER KNOWLEDGE OF MUSIC THEORY AND TECHNIQUE WITH UNAPOLOGETIC SOUNDS AND PEAK-TIME ENERGY.

Daytime Jade flexes her artistic muscles as the graphic designer, social media & marketing manager, and creative team lead AT GORASCAL AND AS A FREELANCER. On any given day, she can be found designing fonts and digitally painting portraits of Jeff Goldblum on her iPad. SHE loves french reds, HER TWO black cats, AND INTERIOR DESIGN.

Dischetto is Jade Waterman: an artist, DJ, and overall creative person based in Brooklyn, NY.

Night Jade, a DJ otherwise known as Dischetto, has been a fixture of New York nightlife since 2015 beginning with her weekly residency at the iconic Webster Hall. With strong roots in classic electronica a la Kraftwerk, Nitzer Ebb, Depeche Mode, and Dopplereffekt, she combines her passion for retro electro with modern techno elements in her DJ sets.

In the years following, she threw a monthly techno party in Bushwick called Dissociate, and has provided opening support for everyone from Fatboy Slim and deadmau5 to Boys Noize and Skrillex and quite literally everyone in between.
